Now Hiring - Business Development Assistant - Temporary in Van Nuys, CA

The Business Development Assistant will be supporting the marketing & sales departments with business development and customer outreach. This position works closely with management to complete special projects with a focus on increasing sales and customer retention. The role will be responsible for customer service follow ups, cold calling, and emailing potential new clients including architects, designers, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities:

· Call current and past customers to follow up with a customer service focus

· Call potential clients and aid in business development

· Email current and potential clients to generate new leads

· Assist with marketing and operations department tasks and office work as needed

Qualifications/Skills:

· 1+ year of phone-based sales or customer service experience

· Professional and confident voice for phone calls

· Experience and knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and YouTube platforms is a plus

Ideally:

· You’re self-motivated with the ability to work independently and on multiple projects in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.

· You’re efficient and organized with careful attention to detail.

· You’re results oriented and have a track record of being measured against and accountable for company and individual goals.

· You have experience and knowledge with customer service for a business. A large plus (but not required) if you have experience with flooring or other wholesale building materials. At the very minimum, a passion for interior design and residential/commercial design trends

This job will be on-site.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
